<p>While the legitimacy of this <a href="http://twitter.com/danny_devito">account</a> is still in question, I think it&#8217;s safe to say we&#8217;re <em>all</em> hoping that it&#8217;s really Danny DeVito. If it isn&#8217;t him, then I&#8217;m still fully behind this guy because he&#8217;s <big>so amazingly awesome</big>. <p>As you can see, if it&#8217;s a fake, it&#8217;s a <strong>good one</strong>. It&#8217;s also hilarious. This is the sort of thing that more iconic characters should do; it&#8217;s fun, it&#8217;s public, and it&#8217;s great for relevance when so many younger people today probably don&#8217;t follow the greats that we all grew up knowing and loving. It also serves to help bridge the gap between popular (hollywood-driven) culture and the Internet, where things tend to stay rather encapsulated within their communities.</p>
<p>Real or not, the account was able to amass over <strong>1,000 followers</strong> in the first 5 hours. That&#8217;s not bad considering it&#8217;s not even <em>trying</em>.</p>
